The Story of Care Blackage: A Love Letter to Our Community
In 2020, following George Floyd's murder, Care Blackage was born. Founded by Courtney Heywood Pierce, this passion project emerged as a beacon of hope and resistance, rooted deeply in the power of community care.
Our journey began with a simple yet powerful mission: to spread joy and support those fighting for change.
For the first two months, every dollar earned went directly to Black-led bail funds, supporting protesters on the front lines of the movement. What started as a short-term initiative quickly blossomed into something far greater—a love letter to the Black community, written with care, creativity, and unwavering solidarity.
Empowering Black Creators and Culture
Care Blackage has evolved into a platform that amplifies Black voices and supports Black-owned businesses. We curate each package with intention, ensuring that:
- Every product tells a story of Black excellence
- Local and national Black-owned businesses are supported and showcased
- Self-care is intertwined with cultural pride and community support
By choosing Care Blackage, you're not just practicing self-care—you're participating in a movement that uplifts and celebrates Black culture.
Care Blackage is more than a brand—it's a movement. It's a love letter from us, to us, and an invitation for you to join in writing the next chapters of our story. Let's spread love, empower our community, and make self-care an act of revolution, one care package at a time.
